Having already touched on the subject during my Level Blocking devlog I won't cover the entire tile palette again. However, a few things to note are the animated tiles of the spikes and the fountains throughout the game. Spikes will hurt the player upon contact. Fountains at this point in time are for purely aesthetic purposes. Another addition to note is the crowd. The game is supposed to represent a twisted game show. We can't have a game show without an audience.
Feedback
The level looks good. However, enemies need death animation e.g., blood splatter on the ground. The player needs death animation and particle effects. The crowd image clashes with the overall aesthetic and is of very poor jpeg quality. It will need to be improved before the final implementation to achieve a consistent art style throughout the game.
