Basic Level Blocking
Tile Palette
The tile palette used to create the first level.
Level Design.
The level design is an enclosed rectangle the player cannot leave until they have killed enough enemies. There are doors and holes for enemies to spawn from. There are spiked obstacles for the player to avoid as they move around the level.
Testing Feedback
Testing feedback for the level design was overall good. However, a lack of doors was noted as a major problem as the player could simply walk out of the play area. Based on this, doors have been implemented so the player can no longer walk out of the area. The bottom door never opens and the top door will only open when the player has killed enough enemies.
